You’ve received your Primeadine®… what now?
Each Primeadine® format is slightly different, so instructions vary depending on which product you’re using. Below, we’ll walk you through how to take each one, starting with our best-seller, Primeadine Original.
How to Use Primeadine Original
First-time use
When taking Primeadine Original for the first time, we recommend gradually building up to the full daily dose over three days to support digestive comfort.
- Day 1: Take 1 capsule with water at your first or last meal
- Day 2: Take 2 capsules with water at your first or last meal
- Day 3: Take 3 capsules with water at your first or last meal
If well tolerated, continue at this dose.
Daily dosage
3 capsules per day, taken with water at your first or last meal of the day.
Morning use may help extend the benefits of your overnight fast, while evening use supports cellular renewal before sleep. For sleep-related benefits, we recommend taking it with your last meal of the day.
Primeadine can be taken with or without food; however, if you have a sensitive stomach, taking it with a meal may improve comfort.
How to Use Primeadine GF (Gluten-Free)
Daily dosage
2 tablets per day, taken with water at your first or last meal of the day.
As with Primeadine Original, taking Primeadine GF supports the benefits of overnight fasting, while evening use supports cellular renewal before sleep. For sleep benefits, we recommend taking it with your last meal.
If preferred, the tablets may be ground using a pestle and mortar and added to smoothies or shakes.
First-time use
We recommend working up to the full dose over two consecutive days:

If well tolerated, continue at this dose.
How to Use Primeadine Original Powder
Daily dosage
Add 1 g (approximately ½ a level teaspoon) to any food or drink below 104°F (40°C), such as water, juice, smoothies, shakes, or breakfast bowls (oatmeal, acai bowls, yogurt, etc.).
The powder is very fine (similar to matcha), so you may find a matcha whisk helpful for mixing.
Be sure to reseal the pouch carefully after opening to preserve purity and potency.
Dosage Guidance
The US FDA has not set a safe upper limit for food-derived spermidine. However, the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) considers intakes of up to 6 mg per day to be safe.
Most human studies use a daily dose of around 1 mg of food-derived spermidine, alongside naturally occurring polyamines such as spermine and putrescine, which are absent in synthetic versions. Synthetic spermidine has not been tested for long-term human safety or efficacy.
If you do not notice benefits after approximately 18 weeks at 1 mg per day, you may choose to experiment with a slightly higher dose, provided you do not exceed the 6 mg EFSA safety threshold.
