Oxford Healthspan at the Smart Ageing Summit 2026: Learning, Sharing, and Supporting Vibrant Longevity

Oxford Healthspan at the Smart Ageing Summit 2026: Learning, Sharing, and Supporting Vibrant Longevity

At Oxford Healthspan, our mission has always been clear: to help people live more vibrantly at every stage of life. That is why we are delighted to be sponsoring and attending the Smart Ageing Summit 2026, taking place on May 9 at the beautiful Rhodes House in Oxford. The summit is organised by Oxford Longevity Project, a Community Interest Company dedicated to advancing healthier ageing for all.

Events like this matter deeply to us. Longevity is not just about adding years to life. It is about adding life to years. The Smart Ageing Summit brings together world leading experts across nutrition, medicine, genetics, movement, and wellbeing to explore how we can age better, feel stronger, and stay more resilient for longer. We are excited to be there to learn, connect, and share alongside this exceptional community.

Our founder, Leslie Kenny, and the Oxford Healthspan team will be attending throughout the day. They will be connecting with attendees and sharing more about Primeadine, our pioneering spermidine based supplement designed to support healthy ageing at the cellular level. We are deeply committed to translating cutting edge science into practical solutions that empower people to take charge of their long term health.

The 2026 speaker lineup promises an inspiring and wide ranging programme. Professor Chris van Tulleken, BBC presenter and author of Ultra Processed People, will examine how modern food environments influence metabolic health and ageing. Dr Nick Norwitz, MD, PhD from Harvard Medical School and Oxford, will explore ketogenic nutrition, metabolic flexibility, and their role in longevity.

Dr Ellen Fallows, Vice President of the British Society of Lifestyle Medicine, will share evidence based lifestyle interventions for healthy ageing, including discussion of GLP 1 medications within a whole person approach. Dr Anant Jani will speak on how food systems can be redesigned to help people live longer and better lives.

Professor Mark Kendall, biomedical engineer and Rolex Scientist of the Year, will discuss innovations in hydration monitoring and preventative health technology. Professor John Todd, Director of the Oxford University Wellcome Institute of Genetics and Novo Nordisk Scientist of the Year, will explore the genetic drivers of chronic disease and longevity.

Healthy ageing also requires action. Movement specialists Wendy Welpton from Reclaim
Movement and Lavina Mehta MBE from Feel Good with Lavina will guide practical approaches to building strength, mobility, and confidence. Breathing expert Jane Tarrant will demonstrate how breathwork can support energy, resilience, and overall wellbeing.

We are genuinely excited to be part of this inspiring event and to support the important work of Oxford Longevity Project. Tickets are available now. Join us at the Smart Ageing Summit 2026.
