Why Primeadine?

The Primeadine difference

Primeadine is our whole-food spermidine supplement, developed with guidance from Oxford University researchers and created with quality, purity and safety as top priority.

Primeadine Original delivers concentrated, defatted wheat germ sourced from Japan, one of the richest known food sources of spermidine.

Primeadine GF offers the same cellular nourishment in a gluten-free formula, drawing its spermidine from Okinawan chlorella and enriched with Shikuwasa citrus lime peel and turmeric.

We believe how a supplement is sourced and made matters just as much as what it contains.

Purity you can trust

Every batch of Primeadine is independently tested in Japan and the USA and verified free from heavy metals, pesticides, herbicides, and mycotoxins.

Quality & testing

We source our raw ingredients from Japan, home to one of the strictest food and supplement regulatory environments in the world.

Our supplier holds ISO22000 certification, a food safety standard based on Codex Alimentarius Commission guidelines from the FAO and WHO, as well as GMP certification from the Japan Institute for Health Food Standards. Only around 150 companies in Japan hold this combination of certifications.

On arrival in the US, raw materials undergo further independent testing before encapsulation in vegan capsules at an FDA-registered, GMP-certified facility. Every batch is tested for purity, potency, heavy metals, mycotoxins, and pesticides before it ever reaches you.

Why Japan?

Japan leads the world in longevity research, and it begins with the food. Japanese dietary culture has long been rich in spermidine-containing foods - natto, mushrooms, wheat germ - making it a natural choice for Primeadine.

Our ingredients are produced in FDA-registered facilities, manufactured under ISO 22000 food safety standards, and certified by the Japan Institute for Health Food Standards. Rigorous oversight, at every stage.

03

The food-derived difference

Primeadine is food-derived, not synthetic. In nature, spermidine never occurs in isolation. It exists alongside the companion polyamines spermine and putrescine, and these compounds work together in a recycling loop that may support the body's own spermidine production.

Synthetic spermidine lacks this synergy entirely, and has not undergone the same regulatory evaluation for human safety as food-derived spermidine.

04

No fillers or flow agents

Many supplement brands use fillers and flow agents to bulk out capsules or help raw materials move through manufacturing equipment. Primeadine is completely free from fillers, flow agents, talc, shellac, and any synthetic ingredients. This is a deliberate choice that reflects our commitment to delivering pure, clean, high-quality spermidine to you.

When Primeadine was first being developed, we were told we would need to add talc to make the raw material denser. We deliberately chose not to, given research raising questions about a potential association between certain talc exposures and health risks. As a result, Primeadine requires three capsules to reach the minimum effective dose of 1mg per day, a small trade-off for a cleaner formula.

Choosing not to use any flow agents means the yield per batch is slightly lower as a result, which we consider a reasonable price for purity.

05

 Food First

Primeadine is designed to complement a healthy diet, not replace it. Whole foods remain the foundation of healthy aging, and our approach has always been to work with the body's natural biology rather than around it. That philosophy extends through every ingredient decision we make, from sourcing wheat germ in Japan to choosing Okinawan chlorella for our gluten-free formula.

The Primeadine difference

Primeadine

Other Spermidine supplements

Source

100% natural and whole-food ingredients from Okinawa, the longevity island of Japan.

Synthetic or synthetically enriched to appear natural. Typically from China.

Testing

Third-party tested in both Japan and the USA. Certifications publicly available.

Sourcing and testing standards vary widely. Often opaque.

Science backed

Formulations shaped by a scientific and clinical advisory board including researchers from the University of Oxford.

Trend driven "everything under the kitchen sink" formulations, not scientifically guided ones.

Polyamine matrix

Spermidine, spermine, and putrescine - the full polyamine network as it appears in nature.

Synthetic spermidine yields spermidine alone, missing the co-occurring compounds your cells use it alongside.

Dosage

Dosed to align with the levels tested for safety and efficacy in clinical research.

Synthetic spermidine often boasts high doses at low costs, while most clinical trials use the dose of 1mg.
