Ingredients:
Refined Sugar Free / Gluten Free / Dairy Free
Cookies:
- 2 1/2 cups almond flour
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 1/4 cup unsweetened applesauce
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/8 tsp salt
Frosting:
- 3/4 cup melted coconut butter
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 1/4–1/2 cup milk of choice
- 2 tablets Primeadine GF (ground up with a pestle and mortar)
Instructions:
1. Mix all cookie ingredients to form the dough
2. Preheat oven to 180°C/350°F
3. Lightly dust parchment paper with almond flour
4. Roll out dough using flour as necessary
5. Cut dough into desired shape and transfer onto lined baking sheet
6. Bake for 12-14 minutes until golden brown, let the cookies cool before adding frosting
7. For frosting: Mix melted coconut butter, maple syrup, spermidine GF (crushed into powder with a mortar), and milk. Slowly add more milk for spreadable consistency
8. Spread frosting onto cookies and chill to set
