Key Ingredients
Primeadine® Original
Primeadine® Original is wholly plant-derived and contains 1mg of supplemental spermidine. It also includes the beneficial and naturally co-occurring polyamines, spermine and putrescine, and an added prebiotic fiber, FOS (Fructooligosaccharide) - both of which help your body produce more spermidine.
Concentrated Japanese Wheat Germ Extract
Spermidine and other beneficial polyamines, spermine and putrescine, are abundant in wheat germ. However, the quality of wheat germ can vary significantly.
We obtain a potent wheat germ extract from Japan, a region known for its longevity and strict food safety protocols. To maintain its quality and prevent rancidity, we go one step further and remove its omega-6 fatty acid content. Rancid omega-6 fatty acids can become part of our cells and cause inflammation in the body.
FOS (Fructooligosaccharide)
The unique prebiotic fiber, FOS (fructooligosaccharide), in Primeadine® Original nourishes the gut microbiome's spermidine-producing bacteria, enhancing the body's innate ability to produce its own spermidine. FOS is found in a resistant starch, called maltodextrin, which we source from beetroot.
Primeadine® GF (Gluten-Free)
Primeadine® GF is a unique proprietary blend that contains 1.2mg of supplemental spermidine from Okinawan chlorella. It also includes the beneficial polyamine putrescine and 2 other natural anti-inflammatory and autophagy inducers. It is in tablet form.
Okinawan Chlorella
Primeadine® GF derives its spermidine from a special sub-strain of chlorella from the longevity islands of Okinawa, Japan. This chlorella is cultivated in a pristine coastal setting using pure water from a volcanic, rock-filtered source in the mountains. We then rigorously examine it for heavy metals, mold, fungi, and bacteria at the Japan Food Research Lab (JFRL), a third-party testing facility.
To ensure optimal absorption, we employ a method that breaks the cell walls of chlorella, known as "broken cell wall chlorella".
Okinawan Shikuwasa (Citrus Depressa) Skin
Nobiletin, a powerful compound that triggers autophagy, is present in the peel of Okinawan citrus lime, known as "Shikuwasa." Shikuwasa is Japan's national lime and is a frequent feature in the diets of Okinawan centenarians. These long-lived individuals incorporate Shikuwasa into their daily routines by drinking Shikuwasa juice and using it to flavor marinades, sauces, and broths.
Okinawan Turmeric (Curcuma Longa)
The exceptional profile of vitamins and minerals found in Okinawan soil is a result of the unique combination of ancient coral rock and volcanic rock that makes up the island. This distinctive soil composition greatly enhances the potency of its turmeric. Turmeric, renowned for its strong anti-inflammatory properties, contains curcumin, which has also been discovered to activate autophagy.
